If you are under the age of 18, this will need to be counter-signed by a parent/guardian. For children entering the family race, a parent/guardian must sign an additional waiver.

Normal gym / exercise kit is ideal. You will be muddy and wet, so wear warm (close-fitting), light running clothing and good running shoes with good grip. Spikes are not to be worn. A change of clothes for the journey home, towel and a plastic bag to put your dirty kit in is essential!

No one is permitted entry onto the course without a signed waiver.

How fit do I have to be to take part in the One True Grit?
This is not going to be a walk in the park. It is a demanding 8k run and you must train accordingly, with training runs and any other suitable strength/cardio/flexibility training incorporated into your training. The Family Race is less challenging but still lots of fun and is set over a 3k course. Whilst kids over the age of 5 can take part, they must be accompanied by an adult and will require the adult's help for a number of the obstacles.
